I’ve just stumbled upon a new and interesting website, Inspired Inspirers. A bit of a mouthful of a name, but the content is quite interesting, and that’s the main thing.

From the site:

Inspired-Inspirers is a place for people who inspire the world to show us who inspires them.

Every 2 weeks a new issue is released showcasing 4 new inspirers from all over the world.

Some big names have been featured, two I instantly recognized were Justin Maller from SuperLover and depthCORE, and Peter Jaworowski of Hejz.com.

Worth a look in my opinion

I’ve never been able to effectively use fabric textures in my designs, or any other sorts of texture, for that matter, but I really would love to learn how to more effectively use them in web design. Here is another nice collection of free textures from Lost and Taken.

Photoshop Freebie: Watercolor Brush Set

I thought I would write about the newest freebie from Fudge Graphics, a set of cool, watercolor brushes for Photoshop.

Seriously a nice set of brushes here, well worth a look. I’ve added them to my collection, and they await being used. The set is composed of 14 brushes, and are all an average of 2500×2500 pixels.

For those using versions of Photoshop older than CS, the author has included source files!

Seriously considering getting a set of these limited edition, metallic hand-pressed badges. They look so cool!

Definitely worth a look just for the eye-candy value, but I will most likely be buying a set if they ship to Australia.

Edit: Just after hitting publish on this I went and placed an order!
